The Role

As an Accounting Associate, you'll own day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients across industries including Manufacturing, SaaS, eCommerce, Skilled Trades, and Crypto/Blockchain. You'll work directly with founders and finance leaders, taking ownership of the books, the close, and the systems that keep them clean.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients, including AP, AR, payroll, and bank or credit card reconciliations.
• Own and execute the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting workpapers.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure consistent, accurate coding across systems.
• Collaborate with FP&A and CFO teammates to deliver reporting that founders can actually use.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automations, and integrations across accounting tools.
• Communicate directly with clients, building trust through clarity, responsiveness, and ownership.

Who You Are

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally with US-based clients.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close best practices.
• Hands-on with modern accounting stacks (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Ramp, Gusto, or similar).
• Comfortable owning your work without daily handholding; you find issues before clients do.
• Excellent written English; clear, proactive communicator.
• Detail-obsessed but able to see how the numbers connect to the business.
